
Sheena Ellison
Sheena joined the practice in 2002 having been a practice nurse for (10) years at another surgery. She works at a G grade. Sheena leads on chronic disease management, particularly diabetes and ischaemic heart disease. She shares responsibility with AA for cervical cytology screening. She supports the more junior members of the nursing team.
Tracey Bentley
Tracey moved into primary care in 2002 as an E grade nurse having spent 14 years on the ward of a busy gynaecology unit. She is developing her role in health promotion, presently training to undertake cervical cytology smear tests. She has experience in wound management, and works with Sheena to run the baby immunisation programme.
Julie Parker
Julie joined the practice in November 2001, after working at Pendle Community Hospital for 3 years gaining NVQ level 3 in 12 units of patient care / venepuncture. Julie runs our busy blood clinic. She also does ECGs and BP checks, and assists during minor surgery. She is a member of the QPA committee.
