The Quality Practice Award

In 2004 the team at the surgery were presented with the Quality Practice Award from the Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP).

The RCGP describe the award as a quality assurance process which recognises a high standard of care delivered by every member of the practice team.

The team worked towards the award for several months, looking closely at how the practice is run and how patient care is delivered.

A written submission was prepared for the college. The practice then received a full day visit from a panel of assessors from the RCGP.

As a team, we are proud to display the QPA logo in the surgery.

 

 

 

 

Investor in People

Investor in People sets a standard to ensure that an organisation performs well through the knowledge, skills and motivation of the staff.

In 2005 the surgery staff were assessed by the Investor in People team.

The assessors were extremely positive about the practice and recommended us for the award.

We are proud to display the investor in people logo alongside that for the QPA.
